Sister Cities International creates international friendship and understanding, person-to-person, worldwide
The Sidney Sister Cities Association, together with the Town of Sidney, pursues those goals with our three Sister Cities through visits, educational and cultural exchanges.
Our three sister cities are:

The entwined circle design of the Sidney Sister Cities Association logo reflects key aspects of the four cities.
* Pink is for the amazing cherry blossoms that bloom in Niimi every Spring.
* Rich brown is for the prevalent colour of the soil in Cairns, Australia.
* Green is for Washington State’s evergreen trees.
* The blue centre is for Sidney-by-the-Sea
